Gettysburg
Trip
During the Veteran's Day weekend of 1999, Scouts from Troop 457 traveled to Gettysburg National Military Park for a four day trip. We arrived at Gettysburg at 1 pm. Thursday we took in the Visitor Center Museum, the Electric Map, the Cyclorama and the Cemetery. Friday and Saturday was spent hiking the John Reb Trail, the Billy Yank Trail and visiting the Eisenhower farm. AJ provided the most excitement when he broke his arm on Friday night. He made a trip to the local hospital to have his arm set and a cast put on. We got up early on Sunday and returned home with memories of a great and very eventful trip.
