In September, Scouts from Troop 457 traveled to Ft. George to serve in the American 6th Regiment during a War of 1812 battle reenactment as part of the 2006 Scout Brigade.
Each year, Boy Scouts from Canada and the United States converge on Fort George, located in historic Niagara on the Lake, Ontario, to participate in this history lesson. Troop 457 Scouts of Company H, learned about the battle and military history, toured historic Ft. George, marched with the 6th Regiment through Niagara on the Lake, and participated in battle reenactments.
