Driving:
For our
monthly campouts, the Troop needs parents who are not attending the campout,
to assist by dropping scouts off at the camp on Friday night or by picking
them up on Sunday morning. All parents are expected to assist in this
effort. Given that your schedule may favor one time over the other, please
indicate your preference below.

Merit Badge Counselors:
Troop 457 wants to expand the number of adults participating in their son's
progress and advancement through scouting. One of the ways that you, as a
parent, can participate is through the merit badge program. The troop
typically offers five to six of the MBs during our meetings. If you would
like to help us in offering these merit badges and thus help your son's
chances to advance in rank, please check off which merit badges you would be
willing to help with. Most, do not require any special training other
than a willingness to help. Just as important, if you have another hobby
and/or skill that you would like to pass on to our scouts, please list this
information as well. Several of our parents have arranged merit badge days
that feature these skills during non meeting times which have been very
successful and fun events for our scouts. For more information on merit
badges, go to http://usscouts.org/usscouts/meritbadges.asp.
